Pink Floyd have “reunited” in support of a pro-Palestinian activist group, members David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Roger Waters announced on the band’s Facebook page. It is unclear if the reunion is for anything other than the statement, however. Pink Floyd's last album was 2014's The Endless River, which did not involve Waters, who left the band in 1985. Last year, Gilmour declared that Pink Floyd had "run its course."

The Women’s Boat to Gaza is a group of women from around the world who boarded a boat in Barcelona last month and headed for Gaza, with the goal of bringing attention to Israel’s naval blockade of the Gaza Strip, which has been in place since 2007. It’s a campaign sponsored by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which describes itself as “a grassroots people-to-people solidarity movement composed of campaigns and initiatives from all over the world working together to end the siege of Gaza.” Earlier this week, the Israeli Navy intercepted the Women's Boat. Thirteen activists, including Northern Irish Nobel Peace Prize laureate Mairead Maguire, were aboard the intercepted ship.
Roger Waters has been a longtime outspoken advocate for Palestinian rights. Here is another video he posted this week about the Women's Boat:
